I'm posting some early comments as I'm off on a trip to Europe. Have to go Roamin' to find Billz's Numerals.
B.J. Just a little bit of blue sky makes a huge difference even if it's just enough to make a pair of Dutchman's breeches. Nicely done and those CG textures do come in very handy.
Pat: Wow; you just increased the resale value by 20%. I see you even dug up the lawn and put down Astroturf!
Candy: That sure helps the photo now that the lines point to an area with a bit more color in it.
Dspec01: 10/10 for attempting a real tricky one and doing an amazing job on it. That would be very hard to tell that it's not the real thing.
Clara: Glad to see I got you converted to trading skies. It really is pretty easy and makes a huge difference just like you've shown.
Sepiana: The clouds sure help make the picture. Actually the fake sky looks more realistic than the real one!
Doris: At Disney everything is fake and that new sky is definitely much more Disney-like than the original. Excellent selection of an appropriate new sky.
mks: Must admit that whenever I see a nice sky I try and get the camera out to add to my collection for future substitution. That's another good example of what a difference it makes replacing a white sky area with a nice bit of blue and some fluffy clouds.
Bill: Now that's clever. Replace the sky and turn day into night. Save that one - we might do a fake lightening challenge so you can zap Mr Potato Head.
Toni: Very well done on a real tough one. When I did mine I cheated by cloning out some branches that got detached from their trees. Your's all look great.
Suzanne: Replacing skies does seem to show up purple fringing with some pictures and it is hard to get rid of. Your new sky did a lot for the picture though. Good one.
Martha: That's really good. And your own sky too. Makes a huge difference to the barn picture.
Deborah: Your granddaughter should be pleased with that one. You've really made the train stand out.
Larry: Well I could say that the reason you were having a problem making it look realistic is that it's Ireland and Ireland is not noted for having bright blue skies! I think the black and white version is great though.
Lots of time for more sky replacements. Keep up the good work! I'm hoping for some nice blue skies while I'm away.
