Organiser Dates and Times (Again)

My problem is that I want to merge the images from two different cameras in a seamless time line.
My friend and I both took pictures of the same event but her camera had the wrong date set. If I use the bulk adjust feature then there seems to be no way to adjust the date without either setting all the pictures to the same time or "null" time.
I have tried using ExifPilot to edit the date time information before importing into the catalog but then Organiser refuses to pick up the Exif date.

You can shift the date/time of a group of photos by selecting the photos, Edit > Adjust Date And Time, select Shift To New Start Starting Date And Time. This preserves the relative times of all the photos in the group.
