I used to show horses in my late teens and early 20s. This looks like a jump some course designer might have built as part of a "theme" course.

I just decided to get in Mr. Motorhome with Mr. Jeep and go see this for myself.....we wandered around the ruins and admired the construction abilities of the people who built this hundreds of years ago , took some photographs . We ate lunch and talked of our next destination and then wandered down the road . This is all made up but it sure sounds good . I have 18 months to go to live this dream.

First of all, you gotta love Glen Campbell's mug shot! Secondly, have you ever done the math on this song? By the time I get to Phoenix, she'll be rising. OK, let's assume that's 6 AM. Now when she stops for lunch, we will say noon, he's in Albuquerque. That's 465 miles, which means he has to average 78 mph to cover that in 6 hours! Now he slows it down a lot, because he travels the 393 miles to the Oklahoma border by the time she goes to bed, which we will say is 10 o'clock. That's 40 mph on the freeway! No wonder Glenn got pulled over!

I like that song, so don't get me wrong! I like a lot of Jimmy Webb's compositions. It was just in doing the math it seemed a bit odd that he drove the first part like a mad man, then went a snail's pace when he got some miles under him. She must have been a real banshee bee-yotch for him to split like that!

Your take reminded me of another Glen Campbell song---- Wichita Lineman. The Lineman searched for overloads, worried about snow, and heard his love singing through the wire ....... and the Wichita Lineman is still on the line ..... at least for the near future:)
