In elements 7, where is the photo effects folder, I can't find it in the program file. I have presets, photomail, plug ins and presets, but no photo effects. Anyone know where to find it.
Thanks

Whizbo,

What operating system are you using? I can help you find what you need for Vista 64. I'd have to guess for XP.

Hi Whizbo,

First, make sure hidden folders are visible. Go to: My Documents > Tools > Folder Options > View > Select "Show hidden flles and folders"

Then follow this path: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\7.0\Photo Creations\photo effects

Hi Lean,

It's in the "product data" folder, Adobe, Photoshop Elements, 7.0, Photo creations.
Let us know if you find it...

Lean, welcome aboard!

This is a hidden folder. First, you need to make hidden files and folders visible. In Vista, do this (http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/show-hidden-files-and-folders-in-windows-vista/).

Then, follow this path:

C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\7.0\Photo Creations\photo effects

Let us know if it works.:)

Thanks Sepania and Roln

I didn't find it in the end but just typed C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\7.0\Photo Creations\photo effects or copied even at the top in the address bar - found it that way and moved my extracted zip files.

Oh at long last I got to figure it out with the help of some friends.

Thank you and have a lovely weekend.
