I thought W2000, Xp and Vista were all listed O/S's for photoshop not now it seems.
I thought W2k and Xp were close enough related, based on the same core, with only extra Bells and Whistles on Xp , but not so.
Is there any way E7 can be made to instal?
Maybe not via Autoload??

(W2k Prof SP4, IE6, 0.9G proc., 1G RAM, 40G HD)

I am not able to understand what is the problem you are facing in installation. Please be more detail specific.

Thanks

Windows 2000 is an old O/S. So there may not be a way to install PSE7 in it and it may not even run correctly.

E7 starts to install and then says it fails to find Xp or Vista and aborts.
The CD ran on someone's Xp and it installed to USB memory stick as asked. It ran OK
Brought the stick back here to W2000 and it generated a message asking for a re-installation ---which was rejected. I guess something was left behind on the XP PC??

If you have Windows 2000 you CANNOT install Elements 7. You need Windows XP.
