BE CREATIVE #68

Time for another Creative Challenge and we are another week closer to Spring!!

This week we are going to have a lot of fun. We are using an "Aged Textured Paper" tut from our own Ailbony. I was really excited when I saw the possibilities of this great tut!! There are several other textures at the top of the tut that you may want to try.

So...let's have fun!! If you want after you create your textured paper try going a step further and create an image with it.

Thanks Karen for your hard work creating this tut!!

Enjoy!!

The small print for the challenge is ……

Everyone is invited to participate.
Please join in, share your images, ideas, imagination and inspiration. There are no rules - feel free to experiment and, if you can remember tell us what you did so others can benefit from your experiments.

Please post your images (as many as you like) below in this thread.

If you would like to comment or have a question, please post here (http://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/showthread.php?p=443749#post443749).

And, above all, have fun!

Here's my textured paper. I will add my "creation" tomorrow!! The only change I made was with the color of the paper.

Great tutorial. I also want to try the other papers that are on the site.
I used the paper as an overlay hoping to make this old photo I scanned in look "aged". It doesn't show up as well as I had hoped. Oh well, guess I'll have to try again with something else!

I made the basic paper and used it in the Pattern Textured Paper tutorial except that I used a pattern adjustment layer so I could scale the size of my shapes. I simplified the layer and used it to delete the hands and feet from the pink paper layer, letting the blue paper I made show through.

I liked how the texture came through on the cream part of the building - much more interesting than the original. Thanks for a great tut Mary Lou.

I know this is such a basic question and I have done this once before ...but I forget how to send my photo selection to a reply. I promise I will write down the directions and never bother you ever again. At least until tomorrow.:o

Hi Charlotte, here is one of Diana's links on how to do Pixentral.
http://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30761

You can also link from your gallery by copying the BB code under your picture.
Also in the posting page is a paperclip in the top line.
You can attach a picture with that.

Looking forward to seeing your pictures.

Thank you Mary Lou, that is a great tutorial.
I want to do the other two versions also.
My version for now.
Those are my Grandparents sometime in 1930.
I went somewhat overboard with the color.
