Any ideas if I can download any plugins that will allow me to create slideshow in HD 1080p using PSE 7.
I have proshow Gold but am cheesed off with it. Do you reckon I should be better off buying Premier Elements 7 or stick with proshow?
Ideas please as I want to get going.

What do you find so bad with Proshow? Personally I find it a lot easier to use the Elements and Premiere.

If you want to create a 1080p slideshow solely in Photoshop Elements, then you will have to create the .wmv profile yourself with something like Windows Media Utilities/Windows Media Profile Editor. More on that later.
You can import a 1080p file into Premiere Elements for video editing, HOWEVER Premiere Elements only supports export of 1080i, not 1080p. More on that later.

I use Proshow Gold (& Proshow Producer) and love what it can do. Did you know there is a forum of Proshow users that can be of great help?....

My bad typing, sorry. :)
I prefer Proshow rather THAN Elements and Premiere.
Proshow has a much easier to use interface specifically when it comes to adding transistions and effects to slides; as well as the Audio integration.
It can be used in conjunction with Elements Organiser. You can assemble all the images for the slide show in an Album or Collection and then just drag and drop the lot into Proshow.

Yep OK, I d/led Proshow 4 demo as I have only purchased 3.5 and made an HD show so I reckon I will upgrade. Shame it hasn't got transparent fades and layers. I cannot see how they justify the huge jump in price to their Producer package as I can't see anyone buying it at that price. But obviously they do.

Even PSG 3.2 has Layers so I'm not sure why you say 3.5 hasn't.
Not sure what you mean by transparent fades. You can transition from one slide to another by a large number of different methods including Crossfades.
There is a large difference in functionality between PSG and PSP just as there is between Elements and full Photoshop. This means a difference in price.
Photodex do have a Loyalty Program in that if you've owned PSG for some while they'll give you a discount on the upgrade to PSP.
