Hello all. Right now, my computer is having a major problem. The pointer of my mouse, even if none is attached to my computer, moves, clicks, and scrolls on its own. Trouble persists even when I disconnect from the internet, so I know this is something internal. This problem is very annoying and disturbing. Doing normal things on my comp has become a chore when this problem crops up. I have a few theories, and could use help regarding all of them:
1: A wireless mouse is interfering w/ my computer
It could be that some other wireless mouse in my dorm hall is somehow connecting to my computer. This seems, however, to be incredibly unlikely, owing to the fact that My computer has no bluetooth and is currently wireless-disabled (if that would help something like this)
2: Spyware/malware/Virus
It seems likely that one of these three things has gotten ahold of my computer. However, as of yet, no program has detected one of these things. My computer, according to scans from three to five programs, is w/o any such problem. Scratch that, Spyware doctor just found some problems. However, I have no money to buy the full version right now. Thanks a bunch, doc.
I would really like to NOT submit my computer to my school's tech center for who know how long. If any1 has any tips to help me, plz throw a bone.
