New user from Kansas -- Hi!

I just found this forum from the photocamel site. I have needed a site like this for a while. I use to be good at learning software, but since my disability, the old gray mare, she ain't what she use to be... I need help learning my PSE 5. I would love to upgrade to photoshop, but not shelling out the bucks until I get a better understanding of how the basics work. I appreciate any and all help. Thanks in advance!!! I look forward to learning lots!!:D

I too would like photoshop, and have been told by (face to face) friends that I "have to get it". However, Elements does so much and I haven't learned half of it yet, so I haven't seen the need (or $$$) yet to do so. I would rather beef up my camera supplies first!
