color tints

I have been trying to get color tints out of pictures. What do you do with color tints i.e blue, red, green,. I have elements 7. Also how do post threats without posting Introduce Yourself. I need help posting otherwise.

As for getting the tint out of a photo, you can use the Enhance> adjust color, or use the levels and use the eyedropper to find your neutral Grey. a tip: If you have not already done so, in the top right area is " How to use forums" a very good video about the workings of this site. I have watched this a few times.

Welcome to the forums!

Another way that I use Elements to remove (or add) tints, and a way that I prefer, is to add an ajustment layer mask (in the Layers pallette, at the top, it is the little black/white circle). In there, I choose to add a Photo Filter, then I play with the filters until I get the colour that I want.
