Email Notification

I've suddenly stopped receiving email notification of subscribed threads. I checked my User CP and I have instant mail notification checked but I've not received any emails all day.....and yes, I checked my spam folder and they're not there either.

Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Double check your frequency notification. I changed mine when we had left the country for our vacation and I felt that I wanted to change it so as to not fill up my email account.

I have 'instant notification' checked. I haven't done anything to change the way I receive emails - just yesterday morning I received them, and then by lunchtime I noticed that they'd stopped coming through. I'm still getting email notification of new posts to subscribed threads from other websites like PCEC and Jessica Sprague, just not from here.:confused::confused:

EDIT: I've just received about 20 notifications all in one go. Seems like it's suddenly started working again!!

Could be server traffic, net traffic and you say this wasn't from this site? Outside influences can't be explained...

No, I said that it's only email notifications from this site that aren't getting through.

And I spoke too soon before cos they've arriving stopped again.......

It does sound like they are coming through in batches ... although why that should happen I donlt know :confused:
