Bill- Score! I'm the staff photographer at tomorrow's Neuter is Cuter day! We have 150 cats scheduled to become eunuchs, so the fur will be flying! I'll try to keep it forum appropriate. Try.

The less cat dander floating through the air makes it better for us all!;)

No, but she will kill me if she sees this! I got the, "You just didn't take my picture, did you?":D

So far, everyone's entries have been great!
Bill - the thumb and pointer-finger are really overrated, anyway! :p
Steven- that would be my expression exactly if I were in-charge of taking cat-parts 'inventory'! You didn't happen to run into Kit-Kat there, did you? I paid for him to attend the clinic!

No sign of Kit-Kat, but my vet was there volunteering, and she offered to modify me! And her name is Kim!

I don't know her but I like her!

Clara - love the little cow! I just watched a rerun of "City Slickers" yesterday and was trying to figure out how to get a little cow (like Norman) on my back deck. Their expressions are so cute!!

Helen,
Is that Alvin, Simon, or Theodore?

Byron -
Our guy is too old to be one of them. He must be David (as in Seville), known originally as Ross (as in Bagdasarian).
Cheers,

Nice furry images this week from everyone, and so far nobody had had to resort to the leftover shelf in the fridge.
Val – Thanks for getting us started so well as always. Your homemade lightbox seems to be working perfectly! I like the way you played the shadows.
Glenda – What a gorgeous shot. Nicely done!! The bit of white in the eye really pops and the black line surrounding the iris is great.
Sepiana – Yep … she’s got fur!! It looks like she’s enjoying a cat nap!!
Pat – Both images are great. The chain on that first one looks to be plenty strong to do the job, and that’s a really nice treatment on the second image!
Katy - Now that’s a stylin’ pooch! Very nicely shot and the blue of the ice chest serves as a great background.
Steven – That’s a priceless shot. The look on her face is so perfect I thought for sure she was mugging for you. I hope you’ll give her a copy of it. And ‘slight pain’ is the pain that happens to ‘others’ right?? Sort of like ‘minor’ surgery. ;)
Rob – It’s great to see Pharoah. If he’s making his own bed it sounds like obedience school really did the trick! Nicely done as always Rob.
Deborah – Hmmm Let’s see … grandkids …. Zoo …giftshop … yep, you bought a stuffed animal. ;-) I like the black border that you chose to repeat the blacks of the nose and eyes! Nicely done Deborah.
TonyW - Beautiful symmetry in the fur pattern and the shot as a whole Tony. The catchlights in the eyes are very interesting too. It almost looks like light is coming in through windows in an overhead type garage door. Nicely done!
Clara – That’s just wonderful. The expression is just great and he/she does seem to be pondering what exactly this person is doing. Not that I know much about cows, but that looks to be a pretty new one Clara! Nice shot.
Bayla – Wonderful thinking outside the box. That’s a great shot .. I love the contrast of the pink on the black and the furry texture of the socks against the smooth texture of the leather. Very cool.
Helen – Yikes! Whatever it used to be it’ll never do that again! Nice sharp photo Helen and it qualifies well for the theme.
Mary Lou – Great colors and textures! It looks like the fella on the left is all set for St. Paddy’s day!
Ellen –That’s the most fur I’ve ever seen!! And what a shot!! Very nicely done … and could you pass me a tissue please I think I’m about to …ahh… ahh… ahh-choo! Sneeze. And you’ve given me a great idea on avoiding my own dentist appointment next week. :o
Kim – Re-gift. Quickly. A nice shot though.
There’s still time for more entries this week, so tell a friend.

Bill - you forgot to comment on your OWN shot. Your dog has a very sweet expression....and your shot looks like a game you have played many times.
(Thanks for light box comments. I'm having a lot of fun figuring it out).
Roln....it's WILBUR from Charlotte's Web! SOOOOO cute!!! :):)

Sorry Bill, her fur is so fine it goes right through the interweb. If that's your hand in your shot the other hand must be super steady! Sweet.

Well I guess it's time to come clean....I did find this on a block of cheese, but found it very difficult to get a good sharp image. This was the best I could come up with:

Thanks Bill for getting me to clean out the fridge this week!!:D

Thanks Val .. I appreciate the comment. In truth I'd never seen that dog before, he was sitting outside the library last Sunday and we just started playing. At one point in our 'game' he had my entire hand in his mouth.
Thanks again!
Edits:
Ellen - Thanks too for the comment. Both hands are present and accounted for and I still have all seven fingers.
Bayla - Thank you for coming through for us with fridge fur!! That's a wonderful shot!

Bill: Thanks for the comments - you were close on the garage door but not quite! She was sitting on the dining room table when I took the shot. We have bottom up blinds and I had them part closed because there was too much sun for a good shot but I forgot her eyes would catch the light coming in from the top. For another purpose I was trying to get a good cat's eye shot and it wasn't what I wanted for that but it worked for fur!
