I have a slide show about my dad's life. He recorded "sound bites" (short statements, then stopped the cassette recorder frequently). How I can get those "bites" from tape into a format that I can then add to some of the slides. I know to add music, so the one issue is the media. I did try running the tape player and recording onto laptop with a mic, but way too much background clutter. Any ideas? I am sure someone out there can point me in the right direction :o.
