photoshop 5

Hello everyone, I've just joined this forum and hope I'll get the answer to my question. I have recently got photoshop element 5.0 in my pc (never used any phottoshop before). My camera is Fujifilm S100FS. When I am trying to import pictures from my camera (taken in RAW) to photoshop, I'm always getting the message "File is damaged or is in a format that can not be included in organiser" and the pictures, obviously, are not imported. I have tried to solve the problem by downloading recent update of RAW plug-in for 5.0 but failed to solve the problem. My camera uses RAF format for RAW. Any help or sugestion will be appreciated.

Hi Syama, and welcome to Elements Village.

Try this... From the Editor menu (rather than the organizer) ... File > Open As

From the Open As dialog, at the bottom of the window at "open as" click the drop-down arrow to choose the Camera Raw format, then navigate to where your photo is stored on your hard drive, selec the photo, then click Open.
