Pinking Shears

Good morning-

I'm looking for something that I can use to put a pinking shear edge to photos on a layout. Tried cookie cutter and shapes, but the closest thing is too rounded. I also tried Wendy deckles. Any ideas? Thanks!:)

How about starting with a rectangle/square shape - cutting the edges on all four sides using the deckle edges you have - and then saving this shape as a template for cutting your photos.

Group your photos to the shape template.

I'm guessing you could probably make the shape and install it after you have your template made, but I don't know how to make shapes and install them.

maybe if you have a pair, cut a long strip of paper than take a picture of the cut and turn it into a shape or brush.

Hi Carol ..

I made a series of these brushes ... as well as pinking shears I did the sort you seee in craft shops too and I also use them to make fancy edges :)

I always forget about "real" stuff...I get so tuned into the digi!

Oh I am doing fine now ... nearly back to normal :)

No the brush set I am talking about is one I made for myself ... I made it to make some fancy edges.
