Hello all, new to elements and having a lot of fun with it so far. I shoot with a Canon XSi with the 18-55mm, 55-250mm and the 50mm 1.8. Just got into photography last December and been having a blast ever since!

Welcome to the village. I use the same camera and the 2 lenses you first listed, although I haven't used the big lens yet. I just moved from a P&S....LOVE the Canon xsi. You will learn a lot here, and have fun too.

It's a lot of information on this board along with a lot of help. Be sure to get active with the tutorial section and you will be well on your way.

I'm sure you'll find this forum friendly, helpful and full of great ideas. I do warn you, though, that once you get in, you may never get out, mwa-ha-ha (evil laugh:-)

Seriously, there are lots of photogs here and great tips and tuts for PSE.
