My old skool, where my formalized edumacation ended! They won't let me mention the name as part of our lawsuit settlement (something about graduating unqualified students) but it is only 2 miles from my house and I haven't been there in years. It was a fun jaunt!

The Pansy School. This building dates back to 1900 although the school existed previously in a wood frame building. The vacant school building, along with the similarly constructed Pansy Methodist Church (1875), is privately owned now and unused but the property appears to be maintained.

I teach a lot of courses online. Here's the home page for one of my classes. I'd estimate that I never meet half my students in person - but I get to know them very well over the course of an online semester.

Some things never change - some do :). My mother, bless her, kept all my old school reports - going back to the tender age of 7. I was good at exams in those days (that bit got worse as time went on) but every one uses the word untidy - often more than once :D. My wife is very fond of reminding me that my early teachers were absolutely correct ;)

I wanted to get a shot of the Seeing Eye school in Morristown. Unfortunately, it's very private and I was only able to take one from the road, along with a statue commemorating the founder and his guide dog in the center of town. But, maybe, someday I'll get a picture of my pup as she walks in harness through town learning how to be a guide dog.

It's education - though not run of the mill. :)

Thanks for the challenge.

While Tony has one of his, it seems as though I have all 12 of my report cards. My very favourite is the blue one - Grade 2 - Miss Finlay. Her first name was Helen - I loved her!

Incredibly, I met her years later at the Winnipeg Airport where she was a volunteer greeter. She curled in the same group as my mother. Small world!

The grandies had a 'sleepover' with us last night, and Tiana was very interested in learning about the 'music box' as she calls it. They were soooo cute to watch.

Not what I had planned for this theme, but time has run out for me to do that, so here is an improvisation.

With a tighter shot you could see this sail boat better but I like the reflections. It's belongs to this organization (http://www.soundexp.org/).
