So i decided to start a Smugmug page, but my uploads are r-e-a-l-l-y slow.
I always shoot in Large, Fine on my D90 so the jpgs tend to be 5 or 6MB.

Is there a way to select a bunch of photo's in the Photoshop Element 7 organizer and downsize them, to upload them? It would take me forever to edit each file to a lower res before uploading.

There should be a way since I can select a bunch of photo's for email attachment and PSE will let me set the size and JPEG qualtiy and automatically downsizes them and attaches them to an email....

It seems that 1280 x 1024 would be more than enough, or even 800 x 600 .. (for 5 x 7's)

If someone in my family wants a real large print, they can always ask me for the original file

In the Organizer, File->Export

In the Editor, File->Process Multiple Files

that does not do what I want... because then I have to export them to another folder,,, it IS a work around, but I would think that since PSE7's organizer has the built in upload features for Smugmug and Flickr, they would have used the same method of downsizing like they do for attaching to email.

I think they really need to fix this... maybe an update?

Then I really don't understand what you want.

Adobe doesn't usually offer updates of PSE.
