OK, someone had asked about deleting a thread. I thought, maybe, if there is only one post in a thread, that deleting that post would also remove the thread. No, the single first post cannot be deleted...

Thanks for clarifying, but this is a quirky really interesting forum exercise for me as this is the first forum in which I had taken part, it is good to see that just one or two words can start a thread and keep it going. Life for the living. Thanks again.
