Resetting Elements 6

I had a problem with E6, where I was unable to save files as JPEG's. I did some sort of reset and the problem was solved. Now whatever I did I have the same problem again and can't figure out what the reset was, Apple, Control, Shift or what it was. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Holding down the control, option, and shift keys while restarting elements until the window comes up to delete preferences and select yes.

On the PC it is the CTRL, ALT and SHIFT keys combination (all held down when you start Elements. On the Mac I think the CTRL key is your CMD (?)
