Hi,
This is my first ever post anywhere, so I hope it works!
I live in Scotland, although I am not new to PSE6 I am new to having to relearn controls with left instead of right hand! Graphic pens help a lot.
This is one of my first attempts, but I can't put my finger on what is not quite right !!!.
I am red headed, not easy to not look dyed!
Also any ideas on working with long grasses
Thanks in hope

It is difficult to judge much given such a small picture, but you might consider cloning out whatever that white thing is at the top and the mushrooms or whatever they are in the foreground. Then crop off much of the right hand side trying to set the picture up with the Rule of Thirds in mind. Pictures are often more visually effective if the main subject is not in the center of the photo. The photo seems over-saturated a bit as well, especially the greens.

Morag,
If you still have your colors on separate layers, you might try lowering their opacities to see how that looks. With so much green in the image from the shrubs and grass, perhaps a different color for the jacket might look good, too.
Just ideas -- from what I can see in this small image, you've gotten good selections on the various zones to be colored.
Welcome to the Village!

Thanks for inputs, you forget with old pics, that folk then centred, and why try to stick with one colour if it looks better changed!!!!!!!!!!!
