I opened my organizer in pse7 and selected a couple of images to edit. I thought I clicked on CTRL-I to open the images in the editor. I'm not sure what I actually clicked on but all my images disappeared from all my catalogs! My tags remain and when I click on a tag name I get a message saying that 'nothing matches this search criteria'.
Does anyone know what I did and how can I get more than half a dozen catalogs of images back where they belong. I did check 'My Pictures' folder and all my photos, etc. seem to be there but they are not in the catalogs. I never thought to try 'undo' and when someone suggested that it was already too late.
I also tried opening an image in my editor, made some changes to it and then saved it. Even though the 'save in organizer' box is checked it did not put it in the organizer. The catalog is still empty.
I then tried to import photos into a catalog in my organizer and I get a message stating "Nothing was imported. The file or folder selected to import did not contain any supported file types, or the files are already in this catalog". The file types were .psd and .jpg and they USED to be in the catalog but they are now gone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
