I wish to edit two camera views, one on each side of the stage and I would like to cut between them and maintain sync. Can I achieve this with Elements or do I have to resort to Premiere 6 to hide tracks and cut between video? I dont mind learning a new way of doing things like PIP in Element, which I really like.
Thanks in advance,

You can preview each sequence in the viewer window and take the sections you want and put them on the timeline. Just place the first view you want on the timeline then take the clip you want from the other view and place it on the timeline next to it for the other view.
Let me know if this answers your question or if I need to take another stab at it:)

I want to have the bottom track as my base track and my audio for both.I need to juggle the tracks to sync up the actors talking. But I wish to cut between both of them. And I can not think of a way to do this with the viewer, because of the sync problem. I will keep on thinking though.
Thanks

I have the same problem. I know how to do it with premiere 6 but I have not find a way to do it with premiere elements 4. I think the only way it will be to do it in premiere 6 and then bring it back to PE4 if I want to use the filters that are not available on P6. But this will be a great waste of time. I notice that PE4 has unlimited amounts of tracks. It must be a way to do it.
Looks like we are asking for somthing that goes beyond the scope of PE4 users.
