...you find yourself parking your car and leaping out of it, in the oddest places
...you are bleary-eyed from reading fellow Villager blogs, but doing so with a big grin on your face
...you are worried your vacation may interfere with your blogging
Anyone want to add to this list? :D

You find yourself "styling" your dinner so you can take a shot.
You punctuate your conversation at work with "on the photoblogs...."
You actually go to the trouble of printing up business cards with your blog address so you can hand them out to friends.

You wake up at 5 AM every morning to exercise, but have to comment on the photo blogs beforehand and you don't start exercising until 8 AM.
You lay in bed at night trying to remember if you posted your photo of the day.
Your friends begin to wonder if the camera has been glued to your hand.

You talk about the 365 Challenge and your blog and everyone politely listens when they really aren't interested
You are in the middle of a conversation and you find you are not paying attention because you are looking at something you want to photograph for your blog.
You race to your computer as soon as you come in the door to blog check.
Val, fun topic. Now I have to go check the blogs!!

1. Your spouse insist's that it has got out of control and keeps repeating that I am now a blog-a-holic and require immediate 12 step counceling and meetings.
2. I have been told repeatedly by MDW that the Nikor Super Telephoto 400mm f/2.8G ($8500) and the Wide angle 14mm f/2.8 ($1500) is not in the recession budget. I really do not understand that as I can always use a new lens and they (no matter what the cost) can be easily justified.

Here:eek: are a few more reasons:
You turn on the computer to look at the blog before your morning coffee
You make notes when you wake up at night about what to add to the blog tomorrow

When you suddenly realize that no one and nothing is safe (or too boring) from becoming a blog subject. (Boots? Doors? An empty roll of bathroom tissue? All fair game!)
You begin to think your name has been changed to, "Oh no! Here she comes again with that camera."
No one will turn their back on you.
Bed time is determined by when you finally get your blog picture posted for that day.

,,,,,your wife insists that you join Blogaholics Unanimous or at least move the computer out of the bedroom, screaming I'm a Blog Widow.
.....you are careening down the highway at 100KMPH and slam on the brakes cause you have to go back and get that "Just perfect shot"
.....Babies, old Ladies and invilids scream when you enter a room with your camera cause all the able bodied people have already fled.
No I don't feel I am effected by the Blogmonster.

:D I can relate to that one! A few more I thought of...
You're losing weight because you skip dinner to take pics and post to your blog.
You contemplate calling in sick to work because the day just crys out for a road trip to capture something different.
Your husband starts posting comments on your photos just so he can communicate with you!

You see possible blogshots EVERYWHERE!
You wander around, looking totally lost, holding your camera in one hand, until someone asks you, "Have you lost something? Can I help you?"
You stay up WAAAAYYY after bedtime checking everyone else's blog, even though you know getting up for work in the morning will be nigh impossible.

You've found 12 new ways home from work in order to seek out new scenes for your photos
Your spouse looks at you suspiciously when you ask if the family would like to "go for a drive"
Vehicle sales brochures suddenly became interesting
You can't look at a photo anymore without reverse engineering the lighting
When someone says the word "raw" you no longer think of fresh meat
You're family does not understand why you had to purchase another umbrella when you had a perfectly good one already
Sunsets are no longer just sunsets
you make multiple posts to your blog and post date them so you don't miss a day
The photographer your company hired no longer talks to you
You've thought about asking the local professional sports team for a press pass
I've gone overboard, but I could go on.

*How about when you find yourself driving (and I mean you're the one behind the wheel) down the highway at 65 mph holding your camera up towards the passenger side window (which is rolled down of course) trying to get a good "sense of motion" shot. (not that I know this by experience...)
*Or when you see roadkill and the question of "could I use that for 'on the road' or 'rest in peace' or would that just be in bad taste?" pops into your head.
(Sorry...my other ideas were already taken :D)

... or you ask your manicurist to please remove that tacky sign behind the rows of nail polish on the display rack, because if she does, it would be a great entry for theme 222 or 190 or ...
...or you walk around with your iPhone in one hand, looking at the list of themes you stored in "Notes" and your camera the other hand, muttering "Jumping, Leaping, Bouncing," "something borrowed", "trash or treasure"
...or you make your hubby flip what was very possibly an illegal u-e so you can go back and get a better look at that thing that whizzed past you but looked promising, only to get home and realize the shots were nothing special

You take the camera to the endodontist's office and are disappointed when he doesn't have to work on your tooth because it would be a great shot to get him peering down at you through those crazy magnifying glasses.
You buy holiday-themed items to dress up a stuffed animal for a future photo.
You take 40 shots of a glass of milk to get "one good shot".
You do your first-ever face-to-face meeting of someone you've met only on the Internet because they are a 365 blogger, too - Sheila, it was great meeting you! :)

This one just happened to me...
You look over at the time stamp on your monitor and think "oh - it's after midnight - it's "tomorrow" - what can I photograph for today???
And ETA, when dining out you select a table near the window (for the natural light, not the view, of course) and you order a dessert that you suspect will be photo-worthy, just so you have another good shot to post.

ohh this is hysterical!!
- you wonder if they will kick you out of the gym if you bring the camera in to get a shot of exercise
- the kids won't look at the camera with a cute smile anymore because they know you WANT the shot
- You check the blog before the mail, snail mail, and walking the dog (woops) and then you wonder if the pee on the carpet would make a good yellow shot!
- you sign up for an intro to DSLR photography course but secretly hope that the instructor has no idea what a 365 challenge is so you can show off when the time is RIGHT!! (oh that is just SOOOO wrong!)
thanks for letting me amuse myself!! lol

What a devious little instructor you are then, I considered this the best course I could have taken when I signed up for the challenge, as did most of us. Don't go getting mean with Candy3, - Isn't it great how interlaced this little group has become, just like being a member of a happy unit when I was in the Army, comradery of this sort is rare and a joy to be part of. Thanks for sharing Grant!

For a minute there I had to remember that I am in the US...I WISH I could have Grant as an instructor!! how long would the commute to Nova Scotia be? or better yet are you taking your class on tour yet?
I agree this challenge has been an amazing learning experience and has definetely gotten me to look at the world differently...problem is I am not very good with numbers so I need a little help along in that category. I know how to set up a shot, but I am still not exactly sure why and can't usually recreate it. So much still to learn, but I am sooooo happy that I am learning and so I want to again thank everyone here because every blog that I read and every picture that I see is I learn a ton and I am very grateful!
That being said I am very sad that I will have missed my first picture posting today, I am struggling with an exacerbation of Epstein Barr (chronic fatigue syndrome) and I just don't have the energy to set anything up :( I need to find a healthy balance between diet and exercise so I don't have to go on the medication the doctor has mentioned. Hopefully this will turn around, because I am finally getting physically fit and I got weighed in today I've lost a total of 36.6 pounds and only have 13 more to go!! So hopefully I can get caught up tomorrow.

Way to go Candy3, don't let things get you down, go to Nova Scotia, the only thing to eat there is snow, and if Grant is too demanding just point at the snow and Hibernate.
Great struggle you are putting up really we are proud of you and I agree Grant should tour And Australia comes before both Canada and the USA.
I think that we are all messing with the numbers though because just as I think I have something worked out, the next time I try it it comes back to bite me.
Don't sweat the posts, rest up get healthy and power on when the new Candy shows herself.
All the Best - Ron

What about trying to talk DH into going to the AMGEN bicycle race ending in Modesto? They only expect 30,000 people to be at the finish line! BTW, the hates crowds and standing hours in the rain for a 30-second reward for a photo. I don't think we will be there:mad:.

I am chuckling a bit, not at what you said but the irony. A job in Australia cause me to retire early. I had just finished of a rather large project and the powers to be said, "We have one that you are really going to like, it is in Australia." The job sound very interesting and all looked good until I asked how do we get there and I was told building a road in would be part of the job. I realized this was a "camp job". Camp jobs can be very enjoyable when you are young. I was done with being away form my family for to long periods, being isolated, and working sixteen hours a day. So I told them I had a better offer; I was going to Nova Scotia and listen to the tides.
Now that being said a Graphics Grant World Tour with loud music, pyrotechnics, and go-go dancers does have a certain appeal. But, alas, the drug of choice now days is Geritol!

Hey man I been in that type of country and we are both to old for that, I believe that four star is Roughing it now. But that isn't Australias fault you just get yourself out here and I will keep tou supplied with Geritol (What ever that is) I'm too young to know and let Canada and the US look after themselves I mean Australia and N.S. are both Islands Right? More to add to the list...
A little (very little) part of you secretly hopes you'll get fired from your job so you can stay home and take photos, learn LR and check out more blogs.
You start feeling anxious when DH won't hand over the laptop and you haven't posted today's pic yet.
