View Full Version : My First magazine cover

Well......Here's my first attempt at making a magazine cover, not the best but with lots of help from the forum I completed it. My son and daughter in-law got quite a laugh from it and I did too ! Grandma was proud to make the front cover. The hardest part was making the magazine 'lay' down and them MKS taught me how to 'bend' the magazine using 'shear'.

Great Job.. all your hard work really paid off for you. I Think that's a keeper for your projects bin.

It looked like a lot was learned from that project and I bet it was a lot of fun.

What a very cool idea. I've heard of making magazine covers, but laying them on the table? That's really neat. Wonderful job.

Thanks everyone for your nice compliments. Its with help from everyone here thats helping me learn. Soon I'll be done doing all the rookie things that beginners do when they learn Photoshop and start learning to create beautiful images like all of you have shown me in your galleries. One step at a time or is is it 'one layer at a time' ? Kev, my son asked me the same thing about saying no to baby sitting, He knows full well we can never say no, its not possible. Once again....Thanks everyone

that turned out really great.

Looks like you started something.
We will be seeing many Mag covers on the forum.
I think it is a cool idea.
