Gorgeous choices, Christell, and wonderful work by all the winners. I'm so glad to see Eddie's simple yet powerful image receiving recognition - the story behind it (found on his 365 blog) is very touching.

Christell,
First, I must say congratulation's to everyone. It's really tough to pick only a few from such a talented group of artists.
Thank you so much for your choosing my image as IOW. I am being humbled and the real credits due here are my Mom and her friend Ruth. Believe me when I say they put the "Time" in.
Thanks again and also for everyone's kind comments.

I went & read Edmond's story about his "Friends" photo after Julie directed us to his blog about the story relating to his photo. Something kept calling me to this photo. I knew from the hands it was an older person that lived a full life but when he mentioned Alzheimer's I can relate to this because my Father-in-law has it & has gotten worse this last year & was put in a nursing home. It is getting harder to visit as his condition gets worse. This is such a terrible disease. Go & read his story: it is a very emotional one.

This was one of my very favorites from the 365 blog - I am so glad he shared it on this forum as well! This picture is so emotional and the story it tells, wow, brings tears to your eyes!!

I picked that as my favourite photo to date too, as Tammy says it is just a superb story both from Edmund's narrative and also as a stand alone photo. Well done to all the other winners but that one was going to be hard to top anytime, and what a great job by the judge, what talent there too.
