My elements 6 is not loading styles on starting. Instead the note comes up:
Could not load the styles because the disc is not available ... but the disc was in the drive???
Should I uninstall and reinstall. Or is this an insignificant issue
Thanking you for your help in anticipation
by the way I have a mac and I do not remember this message coming up until recently

Hi David ...
You shouldn't need to have the disk in the drive when you start up Elements ??
... have you tried deleting the prefs ??
To do that close down Elements then click on the Editor start up icon and quickly hold down the Control, Alt and Shift keys (Mac users: Command, Option and Shift). Continue to hold down all three keys until you get a screen asking if you want to delete Settings ... just say Yes. You do have to be quick holding down the keys so if you have problems with it try holding down the keys with one hand before you click on the icon :)

Hi David ...
Make sure that you use the uninstall that comes with Elements ... unlike most Mac programs if you drag PSE6 into the tradh it can screw things up.
Once you have uninstalled just do a fresh install :)
