I'm trying to get a soft "glamour or sleepy" effect on a portrait. Similar to the attachment. Any suggestions?
Thank you

Hi ...

Try a slight Gaussian Blur on your image :)

I do this, but a bit differently.

Duplicate your background layer. On the duplicate layer apply a 20-pixel Gaussian blur. Now, lower the opacity of the blurred layer to 50% or whatever suits.

You can experiment with different settings to get the effect you want.

Ken,

I've had a few mins to play with this program. It's pretty cool and flexable.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi Andy,

If you want to apply the dreamy/glossy effect to the image, here is a good and simple tutorial to achieve the effect.
