Hi!
Been using PSE6 for some time, but haven't yet found out how to change brush sizes other than with the "slider". The bracket ([ and ]) shortcut doesn't work..I guess since I'm on a laptop. I feel it should be:
altGr. + 8 or 9,
but that doesn't work.
(Shift + < and shift +> takes the size from 1 to 45, but thats not what I want.)
Can you guys help?

I use PSE6/7 on a laptop and the [ and ] keys work good for me to change the brush size. Have you tried resetting the brush tool?

Thanks for your answers!
Yes, I've tried to reset the tools.
To be sure: my "[" and "]" are on the same keys as "8" and "9" on the keyboard (just like @ is next to 2). Is it like that for you guys to?
Any other suggestions?

Sounds like you might have a different style key board. My HP laptop has the [ and ] symbols on the same keys as the { and } just to the right of the P - my desktop full keyboard is the same - and changing brushing sizes using those keys works just the same as on my desktop.

Boemann, on every QWERTY keyboard I have ever seen, the bracket keys are the two keys immediately to the right of the P key. What kind of laptop do you have?
Are the number keys you are referring to (that share the bracket keys) in a keypad or across the top?
Another questions, when typing in a word processing program, how do you type the brackets vs. the numbers? DO you have to hold down a Fn key perhaps? Are the brackets a different color on the keytop?
If you have to hold down the shift key or Fn key to type the left or right bracket, then I assume you have to do the same thing to make them work as brush adjusters in Elements.

I must have some sort of scandinavian/european keyboard. Next to my "P" is "Å" and "¨" letters/signs. AND these work!
Thanks!
