Is there a simple way to fit a picture into an oddly shaped frame without using the eraser? I want to avoid spending a lot of time trying to erase every little bit around curlicues, etc. Help a newbie out? :)
Thanks!

Thanks, Val, for your help. :) I took a look at that thread, but I think you and I were trying to do two different things. I was able to figure out that I needed to select the interior of the frame, then copy my photo, which I then pasted into my frame selection. It worked like a charm, but of course took me hours to figure out. Sigh. I don't know if I'm just slow, or if other people experience the time-sucking black hole effect that happens every time I want to do something new in PSE.

Hi,
You can also do this by creating a clipping group. When you create a group, then the visibilty of the grouped layer is defined by the visiblity of base layer. so only the region of the frame would be visible. However, for this scenario "Paste into" would be the best option in any case.
