I'm a total rookie - I've got PSE 2.0, and I'm attempting to take three pictures and merge them into one that I can then use as my Christmas card picture. I know this can't be too tough - it's just me, right?
I really don't know how to work with layers yet, but I'm more than willing to learn! All offers of help willingly accepted!!!
Thanks,
Shelley

Hi Shelley ...
and welcome to the forum :)
If you click on Learning Centre at the top of this page you will see a couple of tutorial on working with layers. The second one show you how to have three images in the same photo ... just check it out and see if thats the sort of thing you want to do :)

Wendy -
I'm trying the tutorial, and it appears to be what I want to do. However, I can't seem to get the Photo Bin (I'm assuming that's what it is - the Layer list for each photo) to stay open so I can drag my smaller photos into it.
This is where I'm stumbling:
"In Maximize Mode (Window>Images>Maximize Mode), make sure the Photo Bin is visible. Using the Move tool, click-and-hold on the smaller image and drag it onto the thumbnail in the Photo Bin of the main image. Again, a new layer is created."
There is no Maximize mode...perhaps these instructions are for Mac or another version of PSE - I'm on a PC with PSE 2.0 Suggestions?
Thanks,
Shelley

Shelley ...
PSE2 doesn't have a photo bin ... try it this way instead:
You need to open one image that is going to become the main background image.
then open one of the images you want to add and do
Select>All
Edit>Copy
Now click on the main image and do Edit>Paste
you should then be able to continue with the layers tutorial :)
