Speaking of Frames

Speaking of frames...I just tried these...next door neighbors Christmas image and fiancee and our new cat. Any suggestions to improve?

I really like the way the second one is framed but think that the first one should maybe have a larger heavier frame :)

Hi Carl - I would like to see a heavier frame also and my eye caught the different sizes in the frame units (bottom slightly wider than sides). I am not very good at frames but maybe a little larger and with an inner small shadow or bevel???:)
