Tea can effect [Archive] - Elements Village

I am attempting a tutorial called Tea Can Effect. It had me choose Filter/Stylize/Find Edges. The next step is choose Edit/Fade Find Edges. I cannot find "Fade Find Edges" unde the Edit Menu. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks.

Hi,

the 'fade' is not available in PSE, only in full photoshop. However you can work around it by applying the filter on a new layer then lowering the opacity of that layer.

You may also want to check the tut on this thread (http://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37217&highlight=english+effect) (Post #4). No "fade" needed.

Thank you Lisabee and Sepiana. I tried a thread that Sepiana directed me to and it worked great. I really like the effect. Thanks again for the help.
