Resolution for new page?

When you are opening up a new page, how do you know what resolution to set?

Hi Robyn
It depends what you are going to do with your creation. I always start at 300 and then if I am going to print it that is great for printing and if I am going to put it on the web, email etc I save for the web and bring it down. I save the creation at the high resolution in psd format.

I to tend to create most things at a resolution of 300. I started doing it after I once spent ages doing something and later found the resolutiuon to be too low :)
