Help With files

I have copied some files from my old computer and now need to install them again on vista. I need to know where to put Jody's frames and where to put grants tools. I just can seem to find where they go

Hi Tina,

Luckily, I still have PSE5 on my computer, along with 7, so I could look up the path easily. PSE5 is really my favorite version.

Jodi's frames & Grant's tools go in their own folders here:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\5.0\Photo Creations\special effects

I can't remember if you must delete this file, or not, but I think you do:
MediaDatabase.db3

If they don't show up after you restart Elements, you probably do. It won't hurt to delete it, as it rebuilds when Elements starts.

It's found two levels up from the above path, at:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\5.0

That is just where I thought they went but when I had xp that worked great. Now with Vista I go to comuter and there is no option for Documentents and settings> all users.
That is where I am lost.

Duh, I'm sorry, Tina, I wasn't paying close attention - you did say Vista. Here's a thread that should help:

The problem for me was the show hidden files and floders. I needed to check that so I could see the data file.
