I bought Adobe PhotoShop Elements 7 (not a trial version) and installed it about a month ago and since then I have gotten this message 3 times
"Licensing for this Product has stopped working. You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling this product and them reinstalling this product or contacting your IT administrator or Adobe Customer support for help"
When I uninstall the program and reinstall it, it will work for awhile and then the message appears again. Please help! How do I have the program and my license work togethere?

pgarden:
Have you registered the software?
You can contact Adobe 1 800 833-6687
Or contact them at http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/

You likely need to install Adobe's licensing-service update:

I did go to Adobe support and was directed to download the LicenseRecovery109.zip file for windows - after downloading that file everything is working again. Thanks for the help, hopefully my issue is solved.

I had the similar problem with CS3.
I solved it like this:

Run msconfig
Services: Check box "FLEXnet Licensing Service" :p

Benny,
PS. you can also run services.msc and then double click it, set start type to manuelt. It seems that Adobe only do a check about if it is checked in the msconfig check box, even the service was stopped in services.msc...

http://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gifOK, this is what worked for me, since the adobe site formally failed to offer any results.

1. Uninstall all Adobe products and do a search for adobe and delete all remaining folders and files. RESTART.

2. Download and run: Windows Installer CleanUp Utility (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301) to your desktop http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/1094/iexpresstj7.th.jpg labelled---(msicuu2). This will remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer.

3. Download and run: Adobe CS3Clean Script for Windows (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs3clean.html) , unzip and dbl click CS3Clean.exe to begin. http://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/images/icons/icon1.gifFollow the instructions on the black screen. (This will help resolve installation problems experienced by users of Adobe Creative Suite software). RESTART.

4. Install the Adobe program(s) and let it do its thing undisturbed. After installation is complete, RESTART...and prestooo!

Hi ...

Most of the people here are using Photoshop Elements so I doubt that anyone will be able to help ... it may be better to try the Adobe Forums.

I think this is the right one:
