Pre. Elem. 7 shuts down

Just tried to burn disc for first test project. When I click on "Disc" within SHARE, the application shuts down immediately without any message???

Although you stated what the end failure was, you omitted details that are needed to pin point the cause of the failure.

Operating System
Installed Available RAM, free hard drive system
Is your system optimized for Premiere Elements 7, defragmented, etc.?
What exactly did you have on the Premiere Elements 7 Timeline when you hit Share/Disc? Video/Audio formats including number and length of video clips; if photos, pixel dimensions, number of photos, etc.

Let us start here and see where that takes us on the road to resolution.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Particulars you asked for: 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive with 61G available and defragmented, XP Home. Ended up on phone with Adobe support for two hours on 1/20, but problem not solved. It has been escalated and I am expecting a call today. Will post another reply when I know more.
