Wow I have not posted anything for a while and when I finally put something in my gallery I was chosen for editors choice. I am honored. The IOW looks like orton applied to me and it is perfect for this photo.

When I looked up Eagle13 (the winner) in the ElementsVillage search, I found nothing. I thought picture was great and couldn't believe I missed it--I'm constantly looking at the new posts...
I finally did a search over at photoshopelementsuser.com and found a gallery for Eagle13.
So my question is...1) what is the difference between the two Gallery locations, and 2) which Gallery(s) qualifies for consideration for IOW??
Oh, wait a minute, and there is a third Gallery over at photoshop.com/user... None of these three galleries talk to each other and it seems like a major inconvenience posting images to all three...
HELP!!!
Posted! Enjoy:)

The Image of the week chosen by Tami Fry is picked from the PSE user galleries. The one picked by our memebers is from the gallery on the forum. 2 different galleries.

Ok, so I've updated my signature to help ME keep track of the various galleries. Seriously, can you help explain why we need three of them? To me, the easiest to use is Photoshop.com and that's because it's driven and syncs directly from Photoshop Elements. You'd think that would be our MAIN gallery.
The one that is least user friendly is the PhotoshopElementsUser.com site because of it's restriction on pixel width, file size, and resolution...good grief what a hassle.
The Elements Village site is handy because it's easily accessible while we're doing this blog thing, but I still go back to why the Gallery links wouldn't take you out of the Village and over to Photoshop.com
Am I the only one with this issue?

Not everyone here belongs to photoshop.com. The first gallery was the PSE users and I don't know why the forum gallery started. Changing the size for posting is not an issue. You can choose which part you want to post your photos in.
I think it all started when there was talk of this site going down over a year ago so to salvage what we had going new gallery popped up. the site stayed and so that is where the split in galleries came from. I post only to PSE users gallery and find it redundant to post more than one for one site. That is just me. Others find it fun to post in both or just the forum one. You get to choose what you would like to do.

The galley at Photoshop.com is owned by Adobe; we have nothing to do with it. The one here at the Village and over at Photoshop Elements Techniques (www.photoshopelementsuser.com) are owned by our company (Photo One), which publishes the newsletter.
They're completely different, but we do plan to either merge the two galleries (only in that you only need one login and the functionality are the same), or upgrade the one on the newsletter site to be more, well, um, "modern." ;)

With all due respect then Rick, the sooner your company combines it's separate, disjointed galleries, the better. I think that Photoshop.com is immensely more user friendly, but I understand that you have no control over Adobe, but wouldn't it be great if you could better integrate your blog environment with their gallery.
There is also a lot of confusion, at least to me, regarding the IOW contests. One gallery is involved, the other two are not...who can keep track?
I like ElementsVillage so I implore you to move QUICKLY to shore up this obvious shortcoming.
Respectfully, Jon

I'm going to side with Jon , it is really confusing for sure. Right now I stay pretty confused learning Photoshop Elements, so for now I don't have time to figure out where to put pictures for which Gallery.
