Got me a camera

Long time no camera, BUT today I got my a camera, and its
name is Canon EOS 5D mrk 2 :D

Hmm, I'm still waiting for the L lens...

Almost forgot how to make a picture. Maybe something like this:

Got mine a few weeks ago, and I'm loving it, Benny. Had to trade in a lot of old photo stuff and some of SO's goodwill :D, but I'm really glad I did.

its an USM 24-70mm L. Thoose L lens has a painted red ring on it. In other words, when we see one, then we know that the owner is a boaster :eek::confused:... except me ofcause :)

Tomorrow I plan to drive 1,5 hours south to see if I can get a wide lens down there, maybe 16 mm or so. That's great because then I also can try my new other toy (a GPS (downloaded donald-duck voice). N55 2' 24,67'', E9 24'17,66'' and the GPS thing should lead me to the destination. Hope it works, so I would have a wide lens already tomorrow :)

:confused: frustrated after not have been able to shoot pictures in 6 month or so (broken camera), I just
ran very fast out the camera shop and shot the first thing I could find; (
using me new lens)... :p

BTW. Yesterday (thursday) I got me one more
Canon lens (a 400 mm, type L). So I'm now more than
ready to go out and shoooot :D

Great shot. There should be no stopping you now. Let this be a lesson to you and pick up another used body as a back up camera. I've always had 2 bodies ever since my only camera died on vacation back in film days.
