I was playing with one of my favorite tuts of Wendys and of course got carried away. I used a sponge filter on this and some brushes. Nothing is real. What do you think?

I think some of our best work comes when we are just playing with tuts and brushes and filters. I have created some neat stuff by accident and then could not recreate it even when I tried really hard.
Looks good or I should say wood to me.

I think it looks like very deeply colored bamboo, reflected in water.

That's what so marvelous about playing. Never know what the outcome will be.

Tina ,Val and Deborah Thanks. My husband says its looks like bamboo to him also. I continually am amazed at what we can create. I am so happy to have a few wonderful places to see what others are doing and to share what i am doing, it is so inspirational. Thanks for looking.

Really nice result from playing. I surprise myself sometime & then try to recreate the steps on paper is not always easy.

That is very true Christell but i have learned a lot about at least saving psds for furture uses and changes. I am not good at writing each step down either.

Neat effect, Judy. It does look like bamboo to me also. I know what you mean about writing things down. Sometimes playing with filters, I try so many that I forget which I used.

Thanks Martha, it will always freak me out what can be made from nothing. So much to learn and so little time! Thanks for commenting.

Good job! Would make a nice background for a photo of a Panda, since it looks like Bamboo - which is the Panda's favorite food.
