I have been asked to take photos this spring of the iris beds at the local botanical garden. They are holding the national Iris society convention there this summer. They wanted a team of amatuer photographers to come and take photos of the different stages of the iris. I live near the garden and visit there often so this will be so much fun. They plan on a digital book of somekind from the photos we take . I will be part of a team of 12 people who will catalog the iris from it's frist green out of the ground to bloom etc.

Tina, take a look at Ron Stelzer's photos. You can probably pick up some good ideas on photographing flowers.
Don't forget to post some of the photos.

I have lookled at Rons photos and surely can learn alot from them. I live 5 min walking distance from the park so can go and practice with the lighting there.
