I though I would try to make the Boathouse as a Pen & Ink or with a Charcoal look. Bill

Thanks for the positive feed back. The secret to this image was the photo itself. The wood grain on the building and textured stones in the sea wall plus the weathered dock and water refelections all lended itself to making a great B&W.
I used un sharp mask and poster edges, over done for color in order to make all of the outlines and textures stand out. I then removed the color. Again it worked perfectly on this particular photo. Bill
