Hey Kev -
Great images, my favorite is still the first I think. I agree, the second attempt was a neat effect, but the light on the cloud seemed to be coming up from the cup. Cool idea though and worth pursuing. Nice job blending the ship into the choppy 'sea'.

Hi Bill,
Sorry to disagree but there are no clouds in the image. It is of a storm at sea and what you may think is a cloud is in effect white water rushing towards the boat.
Still as they say, each to his own.
Kev:) :) :)

Hi Kev -
Thought I saw a cloud along with the lightning on the deleted second photo. Guess the long days are catching up with me ;-)
Clouds or not, I enjoyed the entries.

Bill,
You are right in the deleted photo there was a cloud but I didn't like the effect, so I deleted it and put in the ship.
Don't worry, nothing wrong with your eyesight!

Karen - Thanks for enetering the challenge. I liked the champagne flute effect.
Will - Life rule #1 for me too .... never go anywhere without a camera and a cup of coffee.
Gary - Beautiful holiday feel ... with a nice frosty nog.

Kev - really like the Storm in a Teacup and being British, it had to have a battleship in it beacuse the Brits have always ruled the waves, haven't they?
Will - presume the coffe was not iced to start with. good uncluttered photo
Gary - really like the effect of your two photos but the prefer the 1st one with the warmer colours
Bill - like the photo but not the combination of coffee with the hot sauces
Alice - just how many did Raffy emply? Great photo
Sorry for posting comments to the other thread :o
