Getting detail with hair

I'm new to this forum, but can someone please help me determine the best way to get good detail when cutting and pasting hair without it looking like one massive 'blob' of color. I have difficulty getting detail at the edges. Thanks for any direction on this forum or fo advice. Zuti

Hi Zuti,

Can you post an example of the image you are trying to extract the hair on? That would help give you the best advice for that particular scenario. The background a subject (and hair) is on sometimes makes a big difference what method to use.
