Val, very nice! Juncos have always reminded me of the winter, because my father referred to them by their nickname: "Snowbirds". :)

Nice capture, Val! He's so cute. We always refer to them as snowbirds, too.
How do you like the burst mode? I find it really does help at times.

Thanks, Chuck and Janet.

Janet, I just started playing around with Burst. Consequently, I have about 50 pictures of this little guy! :D

Seems to work well. Birds never sit still!

I need to try that - haven't really played with that mode except to shoot fireworks. Cute little guy!

Nice catch. I love the way there is a hint of sunshine coming thru....I need sunshine (it has been pretty gloomy/dark where I live for many weeks).

Shar, who doesn't even know what Burst mode is yet, and hopes it is on her new Rebel xsi :D

Only 50?:D I have 122 photos of a hawk on a birdbath...and I wasn't in burst mode!

Burst mode will really teach you to be free with the delete key!

Shar, you have it. It's the button to the left of the "set" button for setting the drive mode. Set it to "continuous". Read more about it on pg. 63 of the manual. And have fun!

Very nice shot of the bird. I too like the sun shining in.

I thought that the burst mode had something to do with balloons; oh well.
