Move photos to a new catalog

I am doing lots of videos using Premiere Elements. They are showing in my Main catalog. I have made a new (Movie Catalog) but how do I move them from one catalog to another???? I have read everything I can find and nothing tells me how to do this. If anyone can help me I will be very grateful. Thanks. Bettijo :confused:

There is no built-in function in PSE to move anything from one catalog to another.

Best thing you can do is delete it from one catalog (but not from the hard disk), and import it into a different catalog.

Which bring up the usual advice ... I do not recommend having multiple catalogs, unless the subject matter of the catalogs is completely non-overlapping, such as personal and work. In all other cases, I recommend having everything in one catalog.

if you keep everything in one catalog, you can configure the catalog to not show the videos (or not show the still photos) with View->Media Types
