When I click on the brush tool and the right facing arrow there is a list of various brushes such as Default Brushes, Drop Shadow, Basic Brushes, Dry Media Brushes, etc and each of these heading has several different brushes under this heading.

I want to add new brushes to my brush list but I would like to add a new Heading “Custom Brushes” and then have all of the special and custom brushes that I have downloaded and want to add, put under the Custom Brush heading such as those already included in PSE 7.

Is it possible to do this?

First, if you haven't already, put your downloaded brush .ABR files in this location, except yours should probably be in the C: drive.... (due to low disk space, I have my Elements installed on my D: drive on my laptop).

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 5.0\Presets\Brushes

Restart Elements and the new brush sets should show up in the brush picker.

Here are some instructions for reorganizing your custom brushes into one set:

Hope this works okay for you.
