picture sizing

I am trying to drag a pic to a new pic and it changes size from the original. i am using pse3 on a mac. I am taking small pic's and printing a group of them on on a new 8 1/2 x 11 sheet. Please help

Before you drag any of the pictures to the new picture - make sure all of them are at the same resolution. Go to Image | Resize image and check the resolution. Once they are all the same resolution and approximately the size you want then to be you can drag them to the new one and if any need a little resizing hold down your Ctrl key and T. Then with your shife key down pull on the corner handles until they are the size you want. If any need a lot of sizing do that before you drag to new document.:)

Thank you mary very much. What you ment was to set all the resolutions the same. That is the new pic and the pic your moving.
