My first time to these forums. I need help with dvd burning in Premiere Elements 2. I had been using this program on our family computer but never can use it so I have recently installed it onto our daughters Sony Vaio. I don't have a problem using Phoshop Elements 4 and really don't have any issues with Premiere until I go go burn my dvds. When I try to burn it almost completes the burn then ejects the dvd...I get various sense codes...the latest is Device Error Sense Code (3 Oc 00) Write Error-Write. Can anyone help is this the burner causing the problem? Or the program? I can't find any conflicts with other programs. Roxio, Sonic have all been uninstalled. A side note that I can burn to a DVD RW.

Take a look at this recent topic from the Premiere Elements User to User Forum at Adobe:
http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.59b752a3
Lots of questions:
1. When you did your uninstall of Roxio and Sony software via Add/Remove Programs, did you also check the Program Files for their Folders that may have escaped that uninstall process...like Sony's packet writing DLA.
2. You say DVD-RW works. What DVD disc brand/type have you been using?
3. What was the problem with the family computer and burn to DVD-VIDEO?
4. Sony Vaio can have its problems with DVD-VIDEO and sound. So, beware.
5. What exactly are you putting on the Timeline: video format/time; photos pixel dimensions and how many photos.
6. A lot more questions, but that topic cited above may have the key. If not, more of your answers/more my questions.
