Hi ,
I'm italian and I'm interested in buying some DVDs .
When I try to fill up the form I see that the "state" field is only with U.S.A states and there isn't a field for outside U.S.A.
What have I to do ?
Can I leave the field with an U.S.A state ?
Thanks
Daniele

It's probably gonna be a stupid question but are you talking about movie DVDs or on-line training ? I'm not sure of the on-line training DVDs are encoded with regional settings which would prevent them from playing in Europe (USA, Canada and Mexico are Region 1 and Europe is Region 2).

I too have attempted to purchase the two DVDs from the store on this web site: Photoshop Elements for Disgital Scrapbookers and Photoshop Elements 3 for Digital Photographers.
I live in Ontario, Canada and, when I try to insert Ontario in the state/province category, I am limited to selecting only one of the US states. I have written to the "Contact us" people about this problem, but to no avail. So I have given up on this purchase in spite of the fact that I am a subscriber to "Photoshop Elements Techniques" and have gone through the two online Photoshop Elements 21 day training videos and have found them all very useful. I thought I would make good use of these DVDs as well, but am fearful that they won't be shipped to me in Ontario but would probably be shipped off to somewhere in Alabama.

There's a bug on the order page that needs to be fixed. When you select the country it should change the options on the state/province selection box to something relevant to the country you selected (or that's the way other sites work). Someone needs to fix it or they are going to be losing orders.

Hi,
I am unable to recreate your issue. I spoke with our webmaster and he asked that you email the details of your problem to him.
What link you are coming from etc.
contact him at: webmaster@photoshopelementsuser.com

Actually, Ontario does appear in the US state drop down menu. If you'd like to place an order, select Ontario and continue completing the form. We are working on a solution for other countries like perhaps an option to select "none". We'll make a post to this subject when this matter has been resolved. In the meantime, if you have any questions or need additional assistance please contact Customer Service at 866-808-2793.

You're right - I just found Ontario sandwiched between Oklahoma and Oregon - missed it when I first looked.

Does the toll free number work from Europe? If not maybe Stacey could post an email address for ordering. :)

The problem is NOT on the Photoshop Elements Techniques web site (photoshopelementsuser.com) but on the photoshopvideos.com web site which is the one you are switched to when you click on the DVD link under "Holiday Shopping" on the PET home page.
"Ontario" is still not listed in the list of US states, nor any other Canadian province.
However, I do agree that Ontario is listed on the PET web site, if one is wanting to subscribe to the PET newsletter as I did a number of months ago.
Enven though I was not able to replace Alabama with Ontario I still placed an order this morning for the two DVDs i.e. "PSE for Scrapbookers" and "PSE3 for Digital Photographers." I hope they will be able to track me down in Ontario and not Alabama.

I contacted the webmaster at webmaster@photoshopelementsuser.com but he didn't reply....
I'd like to order the DVDs PSE for Scrapbookers and "PSE3 for Digital Photographers from Italy.
It is better to wait for the bug resolution or I can proceed with the order by putting an other state (Ontario ?) without any risk ?
Thanks a lot
Daniele from Italy

Thank you for contacting Elements Newsletter. I have passed this issue to the webmaster and we have it resolved. If you are looking to place an order under Ontario, there is an option on the drop down list. Ontario will be located between OKLAHOMA and OREGON. So you can select that option now. If you are ordering from overseas, there is an option "NONE" for the State. This option will be located between NEWFOUNDLAND and N. CAROLINA. Hope this will resolve the problem. If you have any additional questions please call us at the number below or reply to us via email.
